Thank you for choosing BookCoverAI. We strive to provide high-quality AI generation services for authors and publishers.

Since our products are digital goods and our services rely on non-reversible GPU processing costs, we have established the following refund policy. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

1. Nature of Digital Goods

Our service operates on a Credit-Based System.

• "Generation" (Low-Res Preview) is free or consumes free daily quotas.
• "Download/Unlock" (High-Res, Commercial License) consumes paid Credits.

Due to the nature of digital content, once a Cover Image has been unlocked, downloaded, or viewed in high resolution, it cannot be "returned." Therefore, we generally do not offer refunds for Credits that have already been used.

2. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following specific circumstances:

A. Unused Credits (14-Day Money-Back Guarantee)

If you have purchased a Credit Package (e.g., Single, Author Bundle, Publisher Pack) and meet ALL of the following conditions, you are eligible for a full refund:

1. The purchase was made within the last 14 days.
2. NONE of the credits from that purchase have been used. (Your credit balance remains equal to or greater than the purchased amount).
3. You have not downloaded any high-resolution assets associated with this purchase.

B. Technical Errors / Double Billing

If you were charged multiple times for the same transaction due to a technical error, or if you paid but did not receive the corresponding Credits, we will issue a full refund immediately upon verification.

C. Defective Generation (Credit Refund Only)

If you used a Credit to unlock an image, but the resulting file is technically defective (e.g., corrupted file, blank image, severe rendering artifacts not visible in the preview), we will refund the Credit back to your account. Please note: We do not offer cash refunds for "style preference" or "creative dissatisfaction" once a high-res image is unlocked, as low-res previews are provided beforehand.

D. Refund Calculation

For eligible partial refunds (if applicable under specific legal requirements), the refund amount is calculated as follows:

Refund Amount = Total Paid - (Used Count * Single Standard Price)

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@bookcoverai.xyz with the following details:

• Subject: Refund Request - [Order ID]
• Your account email address.
• The reason for the refund.
• (If applicable) Screenshots of the technical issue.

We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.

4. Refund Processing

If your request is approved:

• The refund will be issued to your original payment method.
• It typically takes 5-10 business days for the funds to appear on your bank statement, depending on your bank's processing time.
• Once a refund is processed, the corresponding Credits will be removed from your account.

5. Dispute & Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing issues. unexpected chargebacks or disputes filed with your bank without prior communication may result in the permanent suspension of your account and a ban from using our services in the future.

6. No Subscriptions

We operate on a Pay-As-You-Go model. We do not have recurring monthly subscriptions. You are only charged one-time for the credit packages you choose to purchase. You will never be automatically charged for renewals.
